When I was a kid, often times we would bring a can of corn with us on fishing trips to sprinkle around in the area we were fishing as Chum." Sometimes this was a very effective way of getting stubborn fish to bite. Because it was so much fun, and because it tended to increase the "bad" cholesterol levels in some fish, naturally most states have outlawed the practice, and so, we serious fishermen have had to come up with other ways of getting reluctant or intelligent fish to bite. Therefore, we offer a few other ways of getting the fish to bite.
