Grandparents are precious - Get to know yours before it is too late:

A few years ago I met an elderly woman who was being cared for by her mother. She was in poor health, blind and bed ridden, but still able to carry on a conversation.

I was sitting beside her bed when someone asked her a question. She started talking and told us about the day she had been on a train that was robbed by Jesse James.  Jesse James!

All I remember her saying was that he was very polite. I wish I'd had a tape recorder to record her story.

Do you have a grandmother or grandfather or patents with a lifetime of memories that will all be lost when they die? Have you ever  talked with them about their lives, dreams and ambitions? What will you tell your children about them?

Talk to them before it's too late and the wonder of their lives is lost forever.

One way you can record this priceless information is to have them record their thoughts into a journal or diary. This can be a pad of paper or a book filled with blank pages.

A better way is one of our journals. They ask one question on each page and when filled are a treasure house of thoughts, dreams and accomplishments. A piece of history to pass on to succeeding generations to inspire and to remind each generation of who came before them.

Show your parents and grandparents that you love and care about them. Show them you are interested in their lives. Give them one of our journals to complete. I wish I had ...

We also have journals for young children, veterans, grandpa and others.
