There's a thief at the Doggeroo Dog and Sausage Day and Jack
soon finds he has a Sausage Situation on his paws. Sausages!
Jack and his friend Foxy, the dog next door, trot over to Auntie Tidges
house. Yes! There's a sausage truck in front of her house and a stack of
boxes full of sausages is being delivered.
Written by
Darrel & Sally Odgers.
Why have all these sausages been delivered? Before Jack and Foxy can
figure it out, Caterina Smith arrives and takes the sausages away. Are they
being stolen right in front of him and Foxy? They have to know.
Who is the canine criminal? Surely not Lord Red, dressed up as a corn dog, or
the Squekes, who look like hairy wasps in their striped suits.
When Jack calls for backup, pan-dog-monium ensues. There is going to
be a terrier-able disaster if someone doesn't take maters in paw.
Jack is just the dog for the job. But will he be able to crack the case of -
THE SAUSAGE SITUATION?
This is a great book for children Ages 8 and up. Younger children will love
having this read to them and adults will also enjoy this charming story.
