Dear James T. Kirk,

    Merry Christmas James!  The elves and I have been very busy making toys for you and all the other good children in San Francisco.  We have some great surprises for you this Christmas.  Are you ready?  (Don't forget to set out a small snack for me on Christmas Eve.)

    Also, James, be nice to your family each day.  We can all share a better world if we learn to give of ourselves.  There is a little bit of Santa in all of us when we help others.

Dear James T. Kirk,

   Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas.  The elves and I have been very busy making toys for all the good boys and girls.  We have some nice surprises ready for you this Christmas in San Francisco.  Remember to hang your stocking and set out a small snack for me on Christmas Eve (a cookie will do).

   Also, James, please try to do something nice for your family each day.  The world can be a better place to live if we learn to give of ourselves.  There is a little bit of Santa in all of us when we share with others.

Dear James T. Kirk,

Spock told me that you have been very good this year.  Mrs. Claus and I are so glad.  We want you to know that I will be stopping by your house in San Francisco on Christmas Eve while you are sleeping!

This year my sack is full of toys, clothes, and books and there is even a surprise with the name "Jim" on it!

Also, by the time I get to San Francisco, I may be getting hungry!  It would be really nice, Jim, if you could leave me a snack!  Thanks!

Naughty Letter

Dear James T. Kirk,

   Spock told me that you have been naughty this year.  When are you going to stop staying out all night?  I have no choice but to leave you coal when I visit San Francisco on Christmas Eve.

   Jim, I do hope that next year will be a better one for you and you will improve your behavior toward mankind.  Your consideration to this matter will be greatly appreciated by all.

Nice Letter

Dear James T. Kirk,

  Spock told me that you have been very good this year.  I hear that you are being kind to Klingons.  I am very pleased to hear such news.  In return, Spock will see that you get a ride on the Enterprise for Christmas.  Don't forget the milk and cookies on Christmas Eve when I will be visiting San Francisco.

   Mrs. Claus, myself and all our little elves take our hats off to you.  Keep up the good work Jim and think what you may get for Christmas next year!

Easter Letters

Springtime is coming soon with new flowers, plants, egg hunts, and most importantly, a visit from me...the Easter Bunny!

Spock asked me to remind you of all the beauty, joy, and peace of the Easter Season.  it is a time of hope and often starts new beginnings of life.

So, be on the look-out around March 31, 2002, for some brightly colored eggs and maybe even a jellybean or two... Have a Happy Easter! And a Happy Spring!

Dear James T. Kirk,

We all look forward to Easter with Easter Egg hunts and chocolate bunnies.  Spock wanted me to send you this to help you learn more about Easter traditions.

Long, long ago the egg was an ancient symbol of life.  During Lent, the 40 days before Easter, eggs and sweets were forbidden foods.  Lent ended at Easter, so we celebrate Easter with baskets of candy and Easter eggs!

The word Easter comes to us from the ancient German goddess of Spring, named Easter, whose symbol was the rabbit (that's me!).  Through the years, I have remained a part of the celebration of Easter.  My helpers and I hide Easter baskets and eggs for you to find.

Before the time of Jesus, people celebrated the coming of Spring and the ending of Winter.  Today we still celebrate the arrival of Spring but also, we remember Easter as the time of the Resurrection of Christ.  Ask Spock more about this.

This Easter look for a special egg with pretty designs on it.  I hope you enjoy the celebration with your family and friends in San Francisco.
