One Wish (Complete Story) One Wish was created especially for Trina Anderson at the age of 5 Enjoy your book Mom and Dad August 2012When Trina Anderson awoke one day she saw a bunny sitting at the foot of her bed. "Who are you and why are you here?" asked Trina rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "I have been asked by Mom and Dad to appear right here and to grant one wish to Trina Anderson of Monticello, Indiana," said the bunny to Trina. What do you wish for?" asked the bunny. Trina thought for a moment. "I don't know what to wish for," said Trina. "Oh, certainly you want something." With that the bunny proceeded to name all kinds of toys that Trina already had or that she wasn't interested in having. "Perhaps we should make this a fun wish. Something that you could laugh about," said the bunny with a chuckle. Trina looked down at the floor while she thought. What would be a funny wish that she could wish for? "I've got it!" she shouted in delight. "Can you make my feet sneeze, laugh, and snore?" asked Trina. The bunny wiggled his tail, nose, and ears and said, "Your wish is granted and will last until the clock strikes noon." The bunny then hopped off the bed, and out the bedroom door, while Trina hurried to get dressed for a day of fun. Trina started pulling her sock onto her right foot, when suddenly her foot sneezed, blowing the sock across the room. She tried to put a sock on her left foot but the same thing happened, her left foot sneezed. Trina put her sandals on instead of shoes and socks. She decided to try out her feet by walking around the block. Trina found a mud puddle to splash in. What would her feet do about a mud puddle? Would they laugh? She hopped into the middle of the puddle and began splashing harder than she had ever splashed before. "Ah. . .Ah. . .Ah. . Acheeeew!" sneezed her feet. Kurplunk! Trina sat right down in the middle of the puddle. "Ahchew!" Her feet sneezed again. Trina knew that the only way to get her feet to stop sneezing was to dry them off. She wiped her right foot on her left pant leg and her left foot on her right pant leg. A lady jogger ran by. Without a snicker of a warning, Trina's feet began to laugh. Actually, it was more of a very loud chuckle. The lady jogger turned around and asked, "Why are you laughing at me?" Trina looked down at the lady's feet and saw that she was wearing bright green socks with pink and purple polka dots. That must be why her feet were laughing. Trina quickly sat down on her feet. "I wasn't laughing at you," she said. The lady jogged away. More people walked by and Trina thought that it would be safer to just keep her feet covered until everyone was gone. That's when her feet started to tingle. They tingled harder, and then, they started to snore. Her feet were snoring so loudly that people began to stare at her. Trina knew that she had to wake her feet up. She quickly jumped up and began to run home, being very careful not to run through any mud puddles. When she returned home, she leaped into her bed and lay there laughing and listening to her tired feet snore until noon. THE END Free Birthday Chronicle with every personalized book.
